[PPP-Raw] Bronze: Cathexis

Piyo Piyo Productions presents: Bronze: Cathexis 5/6/17 https://www.otakubell.com/ Project notes: This is, hands-down, the best anime featuring gay cyborg Nazis that’s ever been made. And even if that’s not your thing, Cathexis is hella awesome. Cathexis is part of the Desperate Love 1989 story, but unlike Desperate Love 1989 and its sequel, Bronze, Cathexis never made it past laserdisc. If you haven’t seen Desperate Love 1989 (aka Zetsuai 1989), that’s okay: You can still get a lot of enjoyment out of Cathexis, you just won’t know who the main characters exactly are. Cathexis was one of the first things I ever subttled, back in the pre-digital days. I figure I did the first version around 1996 or so. I made some rookie mistakes back then, including using black as a keying color for my genlock, and using odd fonts, so I remastered it in 1999. And now, I’ve turned my old timed script over to Orphan, who will modernize the script and use this new capture to bring Cathexis to a whole new generation of fujoshi types! I’m kinda excited, and there may be some other old Lupin Gang Anime analog projects being revisted in the future... X264 and untouched high-bitrate DVD conversion for archival purposes, as usual.
